Guru Meri Puja. A sweet short bhajan extolling Shri Guru. Sweet, it was on a CD, long since converted to e-format. Gratitude to the singer and producer. Sanson Ki Mala Terey Naam – qwalli sufi bhajan by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Beautiful, the song probably attributes to Meera, the great poet singer.  In the song the garland of breaths is offered to the name of the Lord, in a manner that is full of yearning for the divine. The audio adapted from the You Tube video is as below:

Anaadi Ananta – nirguni bhajan. Sung by Kailash Kher this very nice bhajan is dedicated to Lord Shiva, essentially stating, as Lord Shiva  himself singing and describing Himself, saying that, “I am not the mind, nor intellect, nor the ego, nor a jivah, I neither move nor stop, nor speak nor listen; I am not the prana, nor the five airs, I have no desires, nor jealousy, no pride, nor a bhava seeking moksha, etc ….. I am the Universal Consciousness, ever unending, ever eternal….”. Enjoy

Tum ek Gorakh Dhanda Ho. Another top qwalli sufi bhajan in the voice of Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The lyrics, in Urdu, quite sum up the mystery and enigma that is God, Shiva or Allah or however God is called. You are an abstruse puzzle cries out Nusrat. Impossible to know, impossible to live without. The deepest enigma. Enjoy.
